If you’ve ended up here, you found my blog and clocked through to the About Page. This is where I’m supposed to tell you fun, interesting, riveting facts about myself, but isn’t that one of the hardest tasks to do.
By day I work a desk job (which will hopefully be less desk bound soon), take my kids to school and back, work out. By night I hang out in my sewing room, with my three sewing machines (a regular, an overlock and a vintage one I have never dared to sew on) with metres of fabric flailing around and pattern paper scraps finding their way around. At least I try to keep a clean space that hour in between projects.
To have clothes that suit my everyday life I sew with a plan. Most of the time it works for me, sometimes things don’t end up as I imagined. I try to consider the process.
In my everyday life I rarely do more stuff about my appearance than the first person of the Beatles’ A Day In the Life: Woke up, fell out of bed/Dragged a comb across my head and I won’t be doing more for the photos here. This is where I chronicle the things I’ve made and how I’ve worn them. No more, no less.
